Rach and Gabe's Downtown Wedding

Here is one of my favorite weddings from this year! Maybe because it is the wedding of my beautiful cousin and her handsome new hubby! The two had dated for a couple years before Gabe popped the question and we were so very happy...as I know Rach hadn't dated too much, as she is quite picky and was becoming weary that she would find the one! Gabe and Rachel actually grew up right across the street from each other and reconnected on a double date, ironically with each of their siblings and the rest is history! Dina and her team photographed the majority of this wedding, I only did some of the getting ready and some bride and groom photos. I tried to highlight and use Dina's to showcase her on this blog post!

The bride and bridesmaids got ready at The Westin Hotel/Scotts Seafood and did their pictures there. I had to share this awesome moment! When Rachel first saw herself in the mirror when her makeup and hair chick was finished, she exclaimed "OMG. I. Am. So. Beautiful! I've never looked this beautiful! "

When Rachel first started getting dressed, we all noticed immediately whom she resembled, our Grandma Ada Jean, whom died almost 28 years ago (wow), I think Rachel was about 2. It was amazing, and what a moving moment that I was honored to share.

I get to see others have these moments every weekend, it was touching to be there. Here is the one that just was almost a replica of her.

It's first look time! It was rainy so it got moved inside!

I have such a great team, I was able to sit out the photography for the rest of the wedding and be able to be a guest and enjoy watching these two say their vows and party!
